Ustadh Shoket Aksi is a mentor, youth worker, chaplain, Islamic Studies and Arabic teacher who was one of the early Scots to have travelled abroad to study Islamic sciences. He has worked with prisoners and those from vulnerable backgrounds. In this interview, Ustadh Shoket discusses his experience of living and learning in Madinah; the key to connecting with young people; and lessons from caring for an ill child.
